Ferguson and Cutshaw Win B.A.I.T. TN-I on Douglas

Thirty-three boats showed up to compete for B.A.I.T. TN-I's last tournament of the season Saturday June 18, 2011. The weigh-in times were shortened to relieve stress on the fish. Despite a stormy end there were plenty of fish caught. First place honors went to the Team of Bobby Ferguson and Dean Cutshaw. They brought in a nice limit of fish weighing 19.69 lbs. worth $880.00. Second place went to Mark Mauldin and Tim Hoskins with 17.99 lbs. worth $480.00. Third place went to Doug and David Winchell with 15.61 lbs. worth $260.00. Fourth place went to Joe and Jake Lee with 13.28 lbs. worth $210.00. Fifth place went to Ed Lewis and Marvin Perry with 12.79 lbs. worth $160.00. Sixth place went to Billy Berthiaume and Casey Baker with 11.95 lbs. worth $110.00.

Congratulations to our Anglers of the Year Doug and David Winchell. They received $1,000.00 for winning the points in the TN-I Division. First Lunker went to Mark Mauldin and Tim Hoskins weighing 6.88 lbs. and was worth $190.00. Second Lunker went to Doug and David Winchell weighing 6.04 lbs. and was worth $130.00.

We averaged 49 boats per tournament this season and that means that the top 20 in points are qualified for the 2011 Classic. If you have any questions on whether or not you have qualified please call and we will get you qualified. You can also mix and match as long as you fish 7 tournaments you will be qualified. The 2011 Classic will be held October 7th - 8th, 2011 at Chickamauga Lake going out of Dayton. Please look at our website, www.baitinc.com, for more information. Those who have qualified will receive a confirmation letter prior to the Classic. If you do not receive one please let us know.
