Winchell and Winchell Win B.A.I.T. TN-I on Cherokee

Saturday May 21, 2011 was a beautiful spring day on Cherokee Lake for B.A.I.T. TN-I's sixth tournament of the season. Forty - three boats showed up to compete Saturday. The team of Doug and David Winchell wound up on top to protect their points lead. Winchell and Winchell caught a nice limit of bass weighing 16.80 lbs. They were rewarded $960.00 for their efforts. Billy Berthiaume and Casey Baker finished in second place with 12.81 lbs. worth $560.00. Third place went to Tim and Delmar Wyatt with 12.65 lbs. worth $360.00. Fourth place went to Mark Mauldin and Lee Monday with 12.27 lbs. worth $310.00. Fifth place went to Steve Miracle and Mike Wolfenbarger with 11.85 lbs. worth $260.00. Sixth place went to Kevin Edwards and Patrick Faust with 11.62 lbs. worth $200.00. Seventh place went to Kevin and Page Powers with 10.59 lbs. worth $150.00.

Lunker Largemouth went to the team of Doug and David Winchell weighing 5.38 lbs. and was worth $210.00. Lunker Smallmouth went to the team of Steve Miracle and Mike Wolfenbarger weighing 3.71 lbs. and was worth $210.00. The $250.00 Watson's Marine contingency money went to Kevin Edwards and Patrick Faust for being the highest finishing Ranger boat.
